EU-Programme: Erasmus+, SPORT, Collaborative partnerships
Coordination: Erasmus+, SPORT, Collaborative partnerships
Duration: September 2017 – August 2020
With this project, inclusive sport practice is promoted by implementing a disability strategy that professes society will be fairer if disabled people have the same opportunities to practise sport and exercise as people without disabilities, in one common area. In this way, they will have the same opportunities to be in good physical shape, be healthy, have a good quality of life and, most importantly, the ability to integrate socially.
The innovative character of the project is not just achieving full inclusion of disabled people in Badminton in terms of learning, training and competing; rather, it is to make Badminton the sport of reference in meeting the objectives of the EU Disability Strategy.
