Fundamentals for fostering Netiquette in the Digital Age
EU-Programme: Erasmus+, KA2, Strategic Partnerships for Adult Education
Coordination: IRIPS (France)
Duration: February 2022 – July 2024
Considering the challenges and opportunities arising from the digital transformation and the persistent inequalities and barriers that limit the competent, safe and responsible use of digital technologies by adult learners, the aim of the Netiquette+ project is twofold:
– To provide participating organisations with resources to support adult educators in the process of embedding and transferring relevant netiquette knowledge and skills.
– To promote the awareness, knowledge and skills of low-skilled adults to participate in the digital society in a critical, conscious and responsible way.
Netiquette is a relevant topic today and will be addressed in an effective and sustainable way, with the aim of further developing adult learners’ key skills for meaningful participation in democratic societies, intercultural understanding, education and employability. The project has the following outcomes:
PR1. Netiquette+ Competence Framework.
PR2. Netiquette+ MOOC and didactic manual.
PR3. Netiquette+ Learning Centre and digital resources.
