EU-Programme: Erasmus+, KA2 Youth
Coordination: Cooperative d’Initiative Jeunes, France
Duration: September 2023 – August 2025
Website: https://wastefreeworld.eu
Waste-Free World aims to empower youth workers and young people across Europe to become agents of change in the fight against waste and climate change. The project addresses the urgent need to promote sustainable habits through non-formal education, equipping youth professionals with innovative tools and methodologies.
Through a comprehensive methodology, WFW promotes a shift towards waste-free lifestyles, focusing on education, awareness-raising and active citizenship. The project will develop an engaging set of e-learning tools, a series of non-formal missions and a continuing professional development (CPD) curriculum. These outcomes aim to inspire behavioural change, especially among young people, by linking environmental awareness with civic engagement and community participation.
