In today’s society, we are seeing a growing demand for key competences, including ‘initiative and entrepreneurship’. These are highly sought-after in the labour market and are also essential in everyday life. At the same time, the system for teaching entrepreneurship in schools and universities is rather outdated and does not meet the needs of today’s young people (it lacks an engaging, attention-grabbing format and contains too few practical elements). A needs analysis across all partner organisations has shown that there is an urgent need for methods and tools to improve the level of competence among young people, particularly NEETs. Consequently, the partnership aims to determine the best ways to encourage young people to develop this competence, as well as the methods and tools to be used in the process of improving competence levels to ensure it is as effective as possible.

The main objectives of the project are:
- to motivate and inspire young people to take action by showing them how they can put their ideas and plans into practice, which will have a positive impact on their personal, social and professional lives;
- to enhance skills in the effective teaching of the key competence: ‘initiative and entrepreneurship’;
- establishing contacts with youth workers and young people from other countries, which will improve language skills, familiarise young people with other cultures and perspectives, enable them to recognise the diversity of viewpoints, and contribute to raising awareness of the Erasmus+ programme as a potential for personal, social and professional development;
-enhancing the organisations’ potential and building their capacity for international work – gaining new experiences and contacts, and developing solutions which, when implemented in the organisations’ activities, will influence their development and the expansion of their services;
-improving the quality of work carried out by organisations that must meet new challenges in the field of youth education.

As a direct result of the project, we would like to:
strengthen the position of the three organisations participating in the project through networking, joint action and
expanding the range of services offered to young people, helping them find their feet in the labour market
show 48 people the diversity of cultures, views and perspectives, whilst strengthening their skills.
